Take Hale's Path
Policies
Affordable Housing
Housing costs are exorbitantly higher in recent years than they have ever been in the past. This has led to increased housing insecurity, hurting our community’s resilience and our local economies. Increased affordable housing would offer a solution to those being priced out of their beloved communities.
Improving Education
In the past few years, Florida has faced “anti-woke” legislature restricting educators’ abilities to discuss current events or accurately portray American history. Our educational resources often do not stretch far enough to accommodate the needs of our students. As a mother, it is important to me that our children receive an education unencumbered by political agendas, and are given the proper resources to succeed. An investment in education is an investment in our future.
Investing in Community
Our tax dollars are being spent on initiatives that do not benefit the American people. I want to reallocate funds to increase social programs and support our local economies in order to build local communities and improve the livelihoods of our citizens.
Equitable Legislation
Florida Amendment 3 will be on the ballot this November as an initiative to legalize recreational marijuana. Policies surrounding marijuana’s criminalization, like many of our policies, have disproportionately affected marginalized communities and ethnic minorities. It is my goal to expand on Amendment 3 and create legislation that equally serves all of my constituents and repairs the harm caused by discriminatory policies.
Access to Healthcare
It is my belief that the purpose of a governing body is to better the lives of its citizens. As your representative, one of my primary goals would be to expand Medicaid to all Floridians, ensuring that every citizen has equal access to healthcare.
Expanding Care Services
Florida is introducing Amendment 4 to the ballot this coming term. This amendment, if passed, would protect Floridians’ abortion access. I want to uphold the right to bodily autonomy in all future legislature as well as expand access to more stigmatized healthcare practices, such as mental health services.
